Unfinished floors have the finish applied at the place of the installation. There are several different types of finishes available. The majority of solid wood products are unfinished, and some laminated/engineered products are available unfinished as well.

Choosing the type of finish to be applied to your floor on-site gives you the choice of effect the color of the product will have on your floor as well as the type of shine you prefer. We carry a large range of stains and colors for use on a floor that will be finished on-site, giving you unlimited possibilities for customizing your floor’s color and appearance. Please be aware that sanding and finishing on-site does create dust and noise from the equipment, not to mention the drying time during which you will not be able to use that particular room.
